NSW Parliament
The Legislative Council is Australia's first and oldest legislative body, established by passage of the New South Wales Act through the British Parliament in 1823. The establishment of this council is seen as Australia’s ‘magna carta’ moment.
Parliament of NSW required a logo and branding to celebrate their Bicentenary of the Legislative Council, which falls between 2022 and 2024. The launch of this branding saw the first Bicentenary exhibition "Unlocking the House" on show at the Parliament of NSW. Tone Studio were privileged to work on the exhibition and accompanying catalogue.
The exhibition transformed the space in the NSW Parliament forecourt, offering a captivating glimpse into the evolution of parliamentary democracy in NSW.
