Hi, I’m Keisha
DESIGNER
As someone who “likes to push the boundaries”, Keisha is courageous in her designs and delights in being part of a team that both supports and challenges her. And as “the funniest person in existence”, she brings a beautiful touch of joy to our studio.
Keisha wanted to be a graphic designer “before I even fully understood what that meant”. But her path was long and complex, via seven years studying first maths, then integrated product design.
“It was a very tough road, but I think it was actually better this way. It made it clear to me that this is exactly what I want to do – and I gained some very useful skills working in the three-dimensional design space before transitioning into graphic design.”
As our studio’s dedicated UX/UI designer, Keisha adopts a user-centric approach to problem-solving and uses research, iteration, prototyping, and visual elements to design experiences that delight. She has the rare gift of being a digital designer with strong typographic and layout skills, which she combines to create websites and digital products that are as beautiful as they are functional.
Kind and deeply caring, Keisha tries to “make sure everyone around me is living a good life”. Her passion for animal welfare and love of dogs led her to seek work in the not-for-profit sector and she is passionate about helping others through her work – especially people affected by dementia, a disease that has cruelly impacted her family.
“In the time I’ve been with Tone my sphere of knowledge has really expanded. I’m very grateful for that – and for the chance to be truly proud of my work. I think that what we’re doing is so important: designing for a purpose to make people aware of important issues so we can help people in need.”
