It’s not just her broad knowledge and exceptional skill that make Jacqui such a treasured member of Tone’s leadership team. With her passion for learning, community spirit, and warm, collaborative approach, she’s a perfect fit for a studio driven by shared values and mutual respect.

Jacqui’s wealth of experience in print design, art direction, branding, and editorial has made her an invaluable addition to our team from the moment she joined us.

Jacqui began her career in magazine design, art directing several high-profile lifestyle titles and learning the art of emotional storytelling in London and Sydney.

After starting a family, Jacqui left the busy corporate world and set up a successful bespoke design business. But after more than 14 years of consulting, she was eager to take the leap into fundraising design:

“It took some courage to make such a big change. But I’ve volunteered in kids’ sports since my children were little, and that made me realise how much I love contributing to a community. I was attracted by the chance to do work that makes a positive contribution to important causes, alongside good people who really care. And I wanted to get back into a team environment where I could learn and grow. I’m totally without ego in terms of leadership. I love to learn from people of different ages and backgrounds, to share my knowledge and experiences and learn from theirs.”

“I’ve always believed that ‘safe teams do brave work’. If you feel supported, you can take more creative leaps and do more for your clients. That’s exactly the environment I’ve found here at Tone, and I love it. Sharing ideas, collaborating, working towards goals together – that’s totally my vibe. It’s really important to me as a designer and a leader.”
