Having spent most of her career working ‘client-side’ in the charity sector, Emma brings invaluable experience and perspective to our team. She’s also a genius at refreshing or designing new brands and loves to surprise and delight clients with her skill and creativity.

Emma always dreamed of becoming an artist. While pursuing her ambitions through a fine arts degree, she also discovered a talent for impactful graphic design and went on to build a very successful design career. She uses her fine art skills to bring a compelling extra dimension to her design work, crafting exquisite illustrations, infographics, and icons that bring a unique flair to our clients’ campaigns.

Emma has always worked in the non-profit sector, with volunteer design work for a prominent Australian charity leading to 17 years as their Lead Graphic Designer. There, she managed all aspects of the brand for the entire organisation, including design for all their fundraising campaigns and events.

It took a courageous leap of faith for Emma to move into an agency role. But she was ready for exciting new challenges and the chance to design for different brands and causes.

“I absolutely love having this opportunity to learn and grow, to have people to talk to and fall back on who really get the challenges of design.

This job has really opened my eyes to all the need in our community – but also to the many good things that are happening out there.”

“Being at Tone feels like being part of a family. Everyone really cares about each other – I can see it and I can feel it. And it’s such an open, honest place to work. Everyone feels safe to speak up and share their thoughts and ideas. I’ve learned so much since I joined and become a much better designer.”
