Purpose-driven, adventurous, and “a bit of a perfectionist”, Andrew is our trailblazer when it comes to animation and motion graphic design. Always striving to make his work fresh, exciting, and courageous, his goal is to deliver campaigns that clients can truly take pride in.

Setting out to work in video game world-building and animation, Andrew discovered a talent for graphic design and quickly began to specialise in motion graphics. He began his career in production studios, working with live-action footage to create videos for a wide range of corporations and government clients.

Volunteering in a communications role with a Bi+ support group began to shift Andrew’s goals for his career. When he found great fulfilment in working on some small projects with non-profit organisations, he was inspired to seek out a purposeful full-time role more closely aligned with his values.

This brought him to Tone, where he revels in the opportunity to learn from our diverse team of experienced designers while using his skills to help create positive change in the world. Andrew believes great design comes from a place of honesty and vulnerability, and that to achieve your best you have to “stay curious, always be open to new ideas, and never stop trying to learn and improve”.

Caring, open and easy-going, Andrew is passionate about people-focused causes and is deeply committed to fighting for change on bisexual issues, trans issues, and poverty.

“I always enjoyed graphic design and motion graphics, but I was struggling with doing work that didn’t align with my values and ethics. I had a good, fun job – but it didn’t fulfil my need to make an impact. Then I discovered Tone and I was thrilled that a creative agency like this existed, one focused on working with not-for-profits.”
